NHB Kicks off Summer with a Sweet Giveaway

With July being National Grilling Month and the Fourth of July the most popular day for grilling, we here at the National Honey Board (NHB) want to help you make this summer sweet with simple tips, tasty recipes and a fun giveaway, all inspired by honey.

As an all-natural ingredient, honey is essential in every kitchen pantry, but it can also be your secret weapon when grilling. A true culinary marvel, honey works in marinades as an emulsifier, not only physically bringing all the ingredients together, but also bringing balance and incredible flavor, all while locking in your grilled meat’s natural juices and giving it beautiful color. Our friend and grill master, Chef David Guas shared with us his best tips, tricks, and reasons for grilling with honey, and you can check them out here.

But we aren’t just talking about marinades, sauces or your favorite BBQ recipe, honey also adds an extra flavor boost to your breakfasts, side dishes, desserts, and beverages as well!
